Solo Pianist
I’m frequently booked as a solo pianist for weddings and civil partnerships, and I have at one time or another played as a solo pianist for every part of the day. I can provide classical music for the ceremony, jazz and swing for the drinks reception, smooth dinner jazz for the wedding breakfast a mixture of jazz and blues for the evening reception.
Duo
Usually the duo consists of piano and vocals or piano and bass. Both work really well for ceremonies, reception drinks, wedding breakfasts and evening receptions. This works really well for the early evening (say untill 9pm) when followed by some recorded dance music.
Jazz Trio
The trio usually consists of piano, bass and drums or piano, bass and vocals. The quartet can add a little more ‘oomph’ and is ideal for reception drinks and evening receptions.
Jazz Band
The band consists of piano, bass, drums and vocals but we can add a sax if needed. This line up is perfect for drinks receptions and evening receptions, but is not really suitable for a wedding breakfast unless the meal is in a very large room.
Disco Service
We can also provide recorded dance music at the end of the night if you would like live jazz followed by some disco music. We can play your playlist through our system and provide suitable lighting.
Outdoor Events
Any outdoor event can be catered for, and performances are possible well away from a mains electricity supply. A gazebo can be provided for shelter and even electricity can be provided in the form of a portable power pack.
Speeches and Conferences: A radio microphone and additional PA system can be provided for speeches and conferences.
Parties, Corporate Events, Product launches and other Functions: Radio microphones, gazebos, additional PA systems and equipment (including keyboards) can be set up in more than one location. If you would like the band to play in one room and have the sound transmitted to another PA system in another room – then that is also possible. I often provide a gazebo or radio microphone without charging you any extra.
